Chubby Baby!

I never thought I'd be able to say Maryam is getting chubby, but look at her!! How great is that? A BELLY! Hooray! This new high calorie diet really is working! Like Daddy says, she has spent the first part of her life trying to gain weight, and she'll spend the rest of her life trying to lose it! lol. She's gotten so big that she's actually wearing 9 months clothes now! AND, we had to go up a size in diapers. She's wearing the Pampers Swaddlers 2-3 instead of just the 2's.

Here is a picture of all of us from last night. We were playing with Maryam on her ball. She seems to like it a lot. She lays on it and roles back and forth. Unfortunately, she's not strong enough to stop herself from rolling right on to her head, so we stay with her and help her the whole time she's on it.

We got a call this morning that she was approved for PT. We go next Thursday for her assessment to find out how many times per week she'll need to go. The good news is, we only have to drive about 7 minutes to get there! Unlike her OT, which takes us over an hour. YUCK! But speaking of feeding, she's doing MUCH better. She's putting a whole bunch of stuff in her mouth and she's still sucking on the pretzel. I tried a bottle and paci the other day, "just in case," and we weren't successful. But its a HUGE step in the right direction that she's actually getting a little better about having things in her mouth.
