Tricycle

Maryam got a scooter and a tricycle for Christmas. She can't really handle either yet. We decided to wait until she's a little older to let her attempt to ride the scooter. As you can see in these pictures, she's not quite big enough to ride the tricycle either. But at least this one we can control.

Basically right now the tricycle is a new stroller. We do all the pushing and she just sits back and enjoys the ride.

A musical Christmas

LOL, this one cracks me up because the sound is so loud it made her close her eyes.

Maryam had a very musical Christmas. She got Elmo drums and guitar which go well with the Elmo tambourine she got for her birthday. She also got a recorder which she walks around all day blowing. She also got some more maracas and a castanet. She loves them all.

Merry Christmad Everyone!!!!

I just wanted to tell everyone that we hope that you all have a very merry Christmas. We're very fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful friends and family. We hope that you all get to spend the holidays with the people that make you the happiest.
And as always, thank you for keeping Maryam and our whole family in your prayers.

Little Miss Christmas

Here is a picture of Maryam coming out into the backyard.....She's setting eyes on her new swing set for the first time!! Below you can see that she took off and ran straight to it!

3 days of Christmas, day 2

We had Christmas with the Cavender/Holland/Andonian brood today. Maryam got another ton of gifts. You can see her playing with her new tricycle below. She also got an Elmo Guitar and Elmo Drum Set.....wow.

Below you can see with Maryam playing with her Little MD kit. Do you find it as sad as I do that she knew to put the stethoscope on her ears and listen to her lungs? CRAZY. I only wish I had captured the moment....I was so taken back by it, that my brain totally forgot to snap the shot.

Here is one of Mommy and Maryam, just for fun! Tomorrow we're planing on a quiet day at home.

3 days of Christmas, day 1

We had Christmas with the Langdons tonight. Maryam got a ton of cool toys. She got some more Mega Blocks, a Radio Flyer Scooter, a few dolls, and her favorite toy was the pink shield and sword that her cousins gave her. The picture is below.

I FINALLY got Maryam on the schedule to see her GI doc. The appointment was for Friday at 3pm. He finally called us back and decided she needed to be seen before that. So, now we're going to be one of his three appointments at 10 am tomorrow. He's convinced that its her button. It sounds like he's going to take the button out and put a Gtube back in....only for 2 weeks. He said, if the pain is button related, it should be gone within 2 weeks. So, its only temporary...but how do I stop her from pulling the darn thing out? UGH...I'm so frustrated!!!!!!
I'll update more tomorrow, you know, when I actually have some news.
