Sicky Baby

Hello Everyone. Maryam is sick. We took her to the doc today because she had a fever of 101.6 and had been awake crying all night long. When we got there her temp was up to 103.4, SCARY! Turns out that she has an ear infection and was given some amoxacillan. Maryam is to take the Anti-biotic twice a day and Tylenol every 4 hours to help control the fever. She listened to Maryam's lungs and said that they sound "GREAT! Especially for Maryam!" AND, she was sating in the high 90's on 1/8 liter of O2! HOORAY!
When we got home Maryam's temp spiked up to 104. We've been giving her the Tylenol every 4 hours like we were told. It does seem to help some though. About 15 minutes before the 4 hour mark Maryam starts crying and burning up. About an hour later, and after the next dose of Tylenol she's back to normal again. But that hour or so before the Tylenol starts working is terrible. Our poor little punkin is miserable. She gets really hot, burning up actually and whines and cries. Both Brett and I feel horrible. All we can do is hold her and try to make her feel better. We have a feeling we're going to be up all night.
