Sitting

Here is Maryam sitting on the bed, all by herself. She's grabbing for the camera, not telling me to stop. Seriously, she is a ham!

Still sitting....and just when I started to think she had it down.......

She fell over!
Our doctor's visit yesterday went well. We nebulized some albuterol for Maryam and she was fine. Her heart rate went up a little bit, but nothing drastic. And her neonatologist called and told me to only use the albuterol if she is wheezing. And not to give it to her twice a day everyday anymore. So, that's good news! We still have to give the Pulmicort twice a day, which sucks! That one she has to wear a mask for because its been shown to cause cataracts with extended exposure to the eyes.
Her weight gain, however, was NOT good. She only gained 3 ounces in a week and a half. The doc said that a lot of that has to do with how active she is. We have an apt. next week with the High Risk Clinic and they'll advise me on how much she should be eating in order to gain more weight. We're already giving her extra calories, so hopefully it won't be anything drastic. If only I could get her to eat more solid foods she's gain more weight! Oh well, someday, I suppose!
