Fun with daddy and the rain

Here is Maryam's impersonation of George Washington.....or at least that's the story Brett's telling.
Maryam is modeling her rain boots that Auntie Brande sent to her.
Now Maryam is putting her rain boots to good use by going outside to stand in the rain. Isn't she adorable?

The women from Regional Center just left, they were here for over 2 hours!!! An Early Invention Teacher and her case worker from Regional Center were here to assess Maryam's development and see what kind of help they can provide. Their assessment shows levels of 3 to 5 months for gross motor skills, fine motor skills and cognitive motor skills. Her social skills ranged from 6 to 8 months, which is GREAT! She's considered to be on track as far as her development of motor skills go. She'll be 6 months adjusted tomorrow, so she's not far behind. Maryam will have a teacher come work with her once a week to help develop her skills, starting in October. Now we just have to wait to see if there is a feeding specialist in our area that can help with oral dysfunction.

I hope EVERYONE has a great weekend!!!! PS...who left the comment that they got married in Vegas? Congratulations whoever you are!!

Hey Little One,

I couldn't resist little girl rainboots. I am glad to see you get some use out of them. Keep doing good and we will see you in the summer.

Love
Auntie Brande
